Cumberland Smallmouth

Any suggestions on fishing for Smallmouth. I will be there for a week starting on the 9th.

I would night fish (jig, worm, spinner bait) or use live bait in the day. I haven't been lately but from what I hear it's been slow. Fishing very early or late may also help. I really don't know what going on on Cumberland but this is just a guess. I also think I would stay close to deep water such as main lake points, bays, creek mouths, etc. Just a guess, I have caught some good smallmouth in June around Grider Hill dock.
