I did what plowboy said, and that was hook my jumper to my trollong motor battery, just one, and got nothing, so I hooked the positive to one TM battery and the negative to the other, and nearly melted my jumper cables. I later learned that you have to unhook the two TM batteries from each other in order to use it as a jumper.
I was very lucky I did not burn up my starter or blow up my main battery, and man, watch out, because those cables will get super hot when 24 volts are going through them. In fact, they were smoking!!!!!
So, yes, just unhook the two TM batteries, and use one of them to jump with.
My cranking battery was dead when I picked it up from the dealer after having some work done, and he, or one of the techs. left the main power switch on. Once recharged, I've had no more problems.
