    I need help!!

I have not been to Cumberland or Dale Hollow since thanksgiving. I have been working too much and trying to pay off bills to buy a house. I am used to going down at least once a month and i can't take it anymore. I have been reading the reports from all you guys and drooling over not going. I am going to get down there this weekend or next at least. i will report when i get back but i have a dilema. Which lake to fish and what to fish for. I actually have another problem to throw in, I love fishing the river for big stripers. I am thinking of going to dale and night fishing for smallies as my main choice because it seems to be the hottest right now. I also am thinking of fishing cumberland at night for stripers but the reports have not really been there. I just want a little feedback on what i should do, or my best bet anyway. Thanks

    RE: I need help!!

I have not fished the river for Stripers but did fish Lake Cumberland 6-4-06 on the lower end. Water temp on the main lake was 76. We started at 6 am trolling shad on the main lake and caught 4 stripers, 3 keepers and 1 short one. Caught these before 10:30 am, then the bite just stopped. Do not know about the night bite now. Good Luck!!!!!

The lower end had some drift floating around. To estimate it per your request from your other post I would say 20 pieces per 3 mile stretch. Some of it was large. Chainsaws not required. Good luck and please report back, I enjoy reading your posts.
