I have not fished the river for Stripers but did fish Lake Cumberland 6-4-06 on the lower end. Water temp on the main lake was 76. We started at 6 am trolling shad on the main lake and caught 4 stripers, 3 keepers and 1 short one. Caught these before 10:30 am, then the bite just stopped. Do not know about the night bite now.
