I tend to like the bitsey jigs in 1/8 and 1/4. In cold water the pork is by far the best but in warmer times I will use zoom swim chunks on the 1/8s and frog chunks on the others. I throw jigs all year but also love the top water and crankbait bite.
Doesn't matter what they hit just so they do. A day fishin beats all else.
