Rough River?

Has anyone been to Rough lately? I'm fishin there this weekend and was looking for tips or pointers.

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON Jun-13-06 AT 10:16PM (EST)[/font][p]My club had a tourney down there two weeks ago. the water was pretty high and they were pulling it pretty hard. But there were some really good fish taken around the docks in the next bay over from the state park ramp. There was an underwater hump behind the docks that I pulled a few keepers off of the last day and there were three 4+ fish taken around the docks and off the trees in the back of the bay. mostly off of tight wobble cranks. I threw at one fish for about ten minutes that had to be 6 pounds in that very back of that bay. I finally just hit it in the head with the a jig and spooked her out.

In our prefish day we caught some nice keepers that were busting shad in the bay by the dam.

DSPCHAMY, thank's for all the advice. I have a tourny there this weekend. Hope to catch a few keepers, but it supposed to be hot though.
