Has anyone had any success on cumberland for smallmouth, striper, or walleye lately?
There are plenty of people fishing for walleye in the daytime and doing well if you can stand the heat. For the past two weeks most of the people fishing in the daytime midweek were fishing for walleye.
Trolling or are they jigging.. little help please.. LOL
Bottom bouncers trolling very slowly. I used crawlers with a Chartruese spinner rig. Walleye have been hitting between 12 and 3:00 believe it or not.
I caught most of mine around points. Some tell me the black shale points. I had more luck around clay banks near points. Call Lake Cumberland bait shop located in Monticello. They can put you on Walleye and are full of information.
Are they catching any smallmouth?
Most of the people fishing for walleye that i have seen are pulling spinners and crawlers which is not a good way smallmouth.
