Don't even ask, its too flippin embarassing. But, just in case you are as lucky as me, here's some things to bear in mind while on Lake Cumberland.
a. Jamestown dock store sells duct tape.
b. Jamestown dock store sells super glue.
c. Plexiglass boat windshields are breakable.
d. Plexiglass boat windshields can be super glued.
e. Put glue on the edges of the part still standing, and on the part that broke off, wait 5 seconds, then put them together and hold for 1 minute.
f. Duct tape over the repair for added strength and to give the glue more time to cure more completely.
g. Repair lasted all week (which might make you think somebody might have broken it the first night on ( or near)the lake).
Other lessons learned:
a. Wifes seeing you about to do something stupid, will keep their mouth shut till the deed is done, just so they got something to rub you about.
b. Wifes who see you do stupid things will black mail you at every lake dock gift shop "Buy it for me, or I'll tell everybody that you......."
c. The more expensive the stupid thing done is to fix, the higher the stakes the wife will blackmail you for.
d. Pontoon boats on trailers are too flippin high.
e. Pontoon boats ought be designed with folding windshields. And yes, I did, this week, try to "fold" mine.....ergo items A to G above.
f. Windshields can only break on the way into a lake. On the way home, a crow can hit the rig while being towed at 70 mph and it won't even leave a ding.
