Went saturday night, had 30+ fish with a 5.5 good one around 15lb limit, had all these from 8:30 to about 2am. then the bite quit for us all together. We didn't stay for the early morning bite since they shut off.the majority of them came before midnite then it was 2 or 3 here and there.

Had 18lbs (best five) Mon night between 9 and daylight. Most 6 to 10 ft on plastics. Think they were shallow because of the storms. Going again tonight will probably blank, at least I'll have the storms to blame. ha ro

Good bag of fish Roger...did you fish with the old man? Wish I could get down tonight in time to fish the Day's Big fish tourney, but I won't get out of the office in time I don't think.

No, wasn't fishin with the old redneck. Do you know that old redneck fishes barefoot all night? In my boat he'd have a hook in his foot, quick as a wink. I was with B.K. a longtime fishin buddy,we had a great night. Fished with him again Thur night and we never caught a keeper. Ain't that fishin? Still like to get together this year. ro

Going tonite too. I haven't done that well in the big bass tourney out of Wax, yet. Will try some areas that I've caught big fish in many years ago. Will be in S18B Astro.

9-15ft,be patient fish heavy brush or rough rock piles we fished some places 20 mins without a bite then get 3 or 4 fish then dead again water was 81 82 i dont't think they are schooled good yet so move we went from moutadier to wax and back and spent more time fishing than running.small worms and texas rigged craws worked well.
