I am planning to come to Cumberland this weekend to fish foe walleye under the lights. I have never done this before on Cumberland. Where or what type of banks are good ones to tie up to and how deep of water are you fishing.

Hey guys, What kind of lights do you use. I've seen a couple of different kinds before, a styrofoam deal with a headlight and a green light that you sink down. What is the difference and what kind are the fisherpeople using?
Also how are they catching walleyes under the lights? Live bait? Jigs?

Do yourself a favor and get one of the submersible lights. You can get a good one for $16.00. I used to get the "floating headlights" because they are only $8.95, but they are poorly constructed. I would go through two or three a season. I finally bought the submersible flourescent light and I have had it now for four years. You do the math. I found no difference between the green submersible and the white floating headlamp as far as attracting baitfish, but I'm sure I will an argument. I don't care. I do OK. You can snag your own bait under the lamps or use jigs either one. I've always done better with the live bait. Good luck.
