RE: lack of law enforcement on guist creek.

Someone please help me define the area you guys are talking about. I assumed when you leave the ramp and head in a Northerly direction for approx 500 yards or so (past the camper/cabin area) that you are in a no wake zone until you reach a set of bouys. At that point you can run wide open(another 4-500 yards) until you hit the bridge then there is a short no wake under the bridge. After that it is wide open again. Am I wrong ? The area I am talking about is clearly marked for obvious reasons namely to keep wake from disrupting the docks for the permanent campers. If I am wrong I too have unknowingly violated this law. If so I appologize.

RE: lack of law enforcement on guist creek.

In response to apextrail's reply, I too have been under the same thoughts as his as to the NO Wake Zones... I really believe that Guist Creek Lake is actually too small of a lake to allow Jet Skies to run and big pleasure Boats...Also one of my friends told me that he thought there was a size limit on the size of boats that are allowed to run on the lake. He thought it was no boat longer than 25 feet, except for pontoons the rule does not apply... I could be wrong, also I do know that the Law Enforcement is monitored on this lake...If the Fish and Game dee you running on plane and not obiding to the laws of the lake ...( YOU WILL BE FINED ) I've seen it done alot, so take my advice and don't make a wake in an area that says * NO WAKE *....

Remember...It's harder to catch something you can't see...Than shoot something you can see....
