Did you ever check to see what the dates of this past year's get together were?
We need to make sure everyone has the dates for next year's event.
AND, everyone needs to remember it is about the get together and fellowship first, and the fishing second.
This year we only had one guy who did not fish show up for the cook out. I'd love to see that number increase for next year. There is no need to fish to come join the fun of the cookout and the telling of stories.
Not only that, there was a pretty good cook. Note I said the cooking was pretty good, not the cook's looks!!! LMAO
I am really looking forward to our next event. I'm still up for a second one in the fall!!

LOL, no, but someone might need to get you some gingsing. You know, to help your memory. You would remember I am back operating on dial up. Video, especially streaming video, doesn't work on dial up.
I have run searchs on the get together to try to find the dates, but was unsuccessful. However, since you seem to wishing to offer help, you could spend your time and high speed connection searching, and obviously do it much faster.
Thanks for the offer Billy. We all know you know it all anyway, so you can probably just pull the dates out of your mind.... oops, already shown you don't remember it all. LMAO
Thanks again Billy, I do look forward to your finding the dates for me.

FANTASTIC BILLY!!!
I know you were busting on me, why do you think I answered with such joviality....LOL
Now that you see how close it is, once i have my boat, errr.. trailer, working again, will now join me on a fishing trip? I prefer Nolin during the week. I have fished Barren about 2 or 3 times, Nolin only once, however, it was a much prettier lake, and when not catching fish, the asthetics of the ambience is important. LOL

Second Weekend in May next year.. I dont have a 2007 Calendar Handy. Can anyone check on that..I am super busy this week working on new site, old site and this site...
Jim
Sorry, won't be able to make that one either. I am already committed to attend another rally for another website on the weekend prior and I can't afford to give up two weekends in a row during peak season. I am on the planning committee for that one and it is going to be here on Ky Lake so I already committed. I will see about getting some giveaways for you guys for your next year's get together.
I love computers...LOL or more specifically, programs. According to MS Outlook, the second weekend of May, 2007, that
Saturday is the 12th!!
So we have a date for next year's get together, May 12. We have the site, Barren River, Pennisula ramp, same as this year.
Everyone, mark your calendars, get on the tournament committees of your clubs and schedule around that date. I'd love to see a huge turnout.
Danny
How far off 65 is that ramp?

Peninsula ramp is 20 something miles by the shortest route. You'll be coming from the north Billy, so you could take the hiway 90 exit there in Cave City. From the exit it's about 12 miles into Glasgow where you'll turn south on 31. South of Glasgow turn right on hiway 252. After you wind around on 252 for a while, Peninsula ramp will be on the left. You could also go further south on 65, take the parkway and hit 31 south of town. That's further, but maybe faster.
Hiway 252 winds along the eastern side of the lake, then across the dam and hits 31 again south of the lake. It's a good bit further, but the roads are better if you stay on 31 all the way past the state park and turn right on 252. This route'll take you past Ranger Bob's, across the dam, and Peninsula will be on your right.
That aint to bad. No excuses now. But if I come it'll be on early Fri with camper in tow staying to Sun.

Hey Jim,
What highway is that at exit 26, I think off of 65? I remember that's the way Rodney had me go, and it was really pretty quick!
