I had a tough time getting hooked up on bass this past weekend with my SPRO Bronze-eye Frog. I was fishing thick grass matts which would have made a trailer hook do nothing but hang up. Also, a trailer hook on the frog would hurt the action a little. I would wait a while after the strike to feel the weight of the fish before setting the hook. I'd feel the fish, set the hook, and then the frog would pop out. It was frustrating!!! Does anyone know of any tips?
