just bought new aluminum boat.i need to know which one is best to buy and most important is who is best at installing them.

Moe: I bought a 7 foot keel shield brand from bass pro and put It on my stratos myself with the help of my son-in-laws extra hands. It went on pretty easy and only took about a hour. With your boat being new, you shouldn't have to do alot of cleaning on the hull to prep it for the application prep before you actually apply the keel guard itself. I read this web site on how to install one and it worked great for me. Might want to consider it if you could get some help for about a hour to do it yourself and save some $$$$$. Click on the left side of the page under fishing reports and open it up.
When it opens up go to the bottom of the page on the left side and go to page 2.
Under page 2 scroll down a ways and you will see a topic on keel guards and open it up and read it.
Again with a extra set of hands to help hold it in place and to keep the air bubbles out it was a breeze. Hope this helps you out and good luck...283

It's a simple DIY project. Just read the directions and follow them. Very straightforward
