Today is the last day to pre-register!! We are still taking pre-registration until 5:00pm. Remember if you are pre-registered then you can put in ANYWHERE on the river--you don't have to check in at a weigh site before fishing. Any questions, call Linda Hill @ 800-896-0414.
For those of you who are waiting to see how this one goes and then getting in next year--you could be knocking everyone out of a next year. If the fishing community does not show support for this event this year we will not bring it back next year.
For those who do not trust the integrity of the event, keep in mind that we have put up $50,000 of our own money and we have no interest in giving it to someone who did not earn it honestly. A minimum of 90 polygraphs will be conducted for this tournament. All six hourly winners everyday at every weigh station. We are taking EVERY precaution to insure the integrity of this tournment.
We will be talking about this tournament with Jim Strader Sunday night on his show on WHAS radio. If you have any interest or know anyone who has interest, tune in!

I see in the rules, no fish can be weighed in under 16". I know it is a Big Fish Tourny, but on the river 12" is legal.
Scrolling Text on the front page says that rule 20 having to do with size was changed to 12 inches..

Thank you Jim, I missed that.
I have talked to Linda at the Kentucky Restaurant Association. We talked for a long time and this should become a great yearly event. I may even try to have the Fishin.com event the same days so that we can all get together at one point on the river and fish as a group.
Would love to see it come to Downtown Louisville to the big ampitheater at the River Front at some point.

Jim,
I have been doing well on the River if anyone needs a partner ???? I fish the RIV 3 to 4 days a week .
My boat is old ....has no live well
jfw
Get a cooler and put an Aerator on it.
I would fish it but not sure if I would qualify. I make my money from fishing, though I have never won a tournament and I have not fished more than 10 days a year in years.. LOL.. but my income is from Fishing and Hunting... through the websites..THOUGH this year and last the majority of my income was from Truck Driving.. soooooooo... I guess I could fish. I will let you know. I can only afford one day right now.
Jim D
Actually, you would qualify since your income doesn't come from the ACT of fishing.
Linda
How are livewell and boat checks being conducted? Also, with being able to trailer in. What will prevent someone from fishing some other body of water and driving in to weigh fish? I know there is a poly. But the way I read the rule it seems like it will be a random thing.
Every hourly winner will be polygraphed. And those items are covered in the test.
