I thought I had some huge hybrid bluegills. Those are some awsome red ears. Would love to tie into some of those on the old ultralite. Those are nice fish congrates to the person who caught those.

Fished Dale Hollow 7/6-7/7 for Gills and Crackers. water temp in the low 80's and with a mild stain (visibility to 5ft on main lake). thurs -> VERY WINDY, today more calm. lots of recreational boaters on main lake. LOTS of skiing on the front of the boat due to massive wake. bluegills in 20ft of water around grassbeds. caught over 40 per 4 hrs (each day) and kept ~20 to eat (total). only managed 2 shellcrackers but in the 8in range. took brother, father and father in law and let them enjoy the wonders of Dale Hollow. there is really nothing like fishing with the family. what a great vacation! the bluegill action is great right now but i could not seem to find the crackers.
