Jefferson Co. Sportmans Club

Just wondering if anyone on here belongs to this little lake(Jefferson County Sportmans Club). If so, have you noticed the decline of fishing, or is it just me? A couple years ago it was nothing to catch a limit of 15lbs out there, now I have been picking up alot of dinks lately. Thinking about keeping some of these smaller fish, because that is all that seems to be out there. I have caught a few fish over 6, numerous fish over 4, but this year no fish over 3. Just wondering if it was me, or if this small lake is on a decline...I hope not, been a member since I was old enough to cast. It's a good little place to hit up after work or school, especially since you have the whole lake usually to yourself. Just wondering about it...

I would say that you haven't caught the fish like you used to because you don't fish like you used to! I mean what the heck?! All you do is hang out with that girl! Ha ha ha!!! Call me up sometime when you get off of the leash! I'll go with you and show you how to catch'em! I've got a pond hopper boat I can bring up here sometime if you'd keep it at your place. Anyhow, talk to you later old man! :)

I agree with Scott on the give me a call sometime and lets go fishing, both of you. I am always ready if I am in town.
Hey Scott, if you are fishing BFL as a boater next year, I will be your co-angler for the year. I need to get out an learn some new tricks with good fishermen. I fished the Friday night on Taylorsville last night and big Dale Reader and his partner kicked butt, 1st place.

I was just reading thru my July FLW Outdoor magazine, and it has a good article about College Bass Fishing. It has a good story about U of L club.

Well Greg, I might or might not fish BFL next year. I might take a year off from it and use the entry fees for boat payments and get me a new Z21 with an E-Tec. We'll just see how it all works out! I'll still fish all of the locals on Ky and Barkley though. Next spring will be an exciting time!

The article was good, they for some reason think that we are the "L-Raisins" which isn't right! It's the "L-Raisin' Anglers!!!!" Guess they couldn't understand the play on words.... They'll definitely know it when we bring home the trophy in Smashmouth and the Fox College Sports Tournament!

Sounds good guys, we ought to get together sometime and try to do some fishing. School is almost out for the summer so I am more apt to after the next Friday. Scott you wanna fish a TNT or river Tourney? And leash, yea I am on that short leash but for good reason. I was at the hospital all day Saturday, as she was going into labor...they had to stop the contractions...but wayyy too early for that, heck it's still two months away.

But I am down everyday after the 21st, just give me a shout and I'll be there. Hope all is well and is that article online?
