As I was fishing on Saturday, I was thinking that the fish should soon be headed into the creeks following the shad. The problem I have is that is seems that as soon as the fish start moving back, the corps. starts to drop the lake. My question is do the fish move back out towards the main lake or do they just pull out deeper where they are? Anyway, I cant stand the thought of winter on it's way and just want to make the best of it while I can. Also during draw down, Is is best to fish "Up the river"? It's my understanding that the fish in the river are less affected by the falling water. Any insight would be appreciated.
