    RE: ?????????????

Sorry Steve, I just saw the 3 posts and thought you were new here. Maybe I should get an alias. How about gillnetter, or maybe dynamitefishing? Naa, don't think they would go over to well.}>

    AND THE WINNER IS...........

If I didn't make a mistake, the winner is #67 Splitshot with the guess of 29.25lbs.

The actual winning weight at the Classic this year was 29.38lbs. The team of Bob Robinson & Gary Hill (Ohio) took home 1st place honors.

Thanks to all that participated in this contest and we will do it again next year.

    Steve Riley

P.S. Splitshot, call me at 859-533-5530 so I can make arrangements to get you your money. I'm assuming you want CASH ! LOL

    GOT-R-DONE.

Well that explains why I didn't catch many creek fish today - I used up all my luck here. LOL!

Lucky guess. I believe it was my Grandfather that said, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then." LOL!

Inn By The Lake, thanks for the fun little contest. It sounds like the tourney went pretty well too, so that's good.

I'll give you a shout on Monday Steve. Thanks!

    Question for STEVE R.

    Steve,

I have only one question. Why does this tournament always usher in cold windy conditins? LOL

I remember last year your reporting that the winners had won the tournament on tubes. I kept thinking, how could anyone have fished a tube in that wind unless they had them on carolina rigs.

    LMAO

    Nice contest you had here.

    RE: Question for STEVE R.

    Hey Danny,

Man, I don't know why, but every year we end up having bad weather at least one of the two days. It was beautiful weather all last week until....you guessed it, Thursday & Friday.

Maybe, just maybe, next year will bring us good weather both days. (I wouldn't bet on it though )

Come out and fish with us next year. We now have a division on Rough River & Nolin Lakes.

    Tight Lines !!

    RE: Question for STEVE R.

    Thanks for the invite Steve.

Right now, I'm laid off, and provided a couple of things, I may take you up on it next year.

    1) If I have a job so I can afford to fish... ha ha

    2) If I can get my health back to a spot I can fish!!

I did not fish much this year. I knew we were going to have another work force reduction, and I spent a lot of weekends working. Add that to my back, and I never got anywhere near fishing condition.

Lots going on with family illness, but if I can get by that, I do plan on working hard this winter to be able to fish more next year.

If I am successful, I want to re-joing the Southern Kentucky Bassmasters... really enjoyed those guys and tournaments, and would love to fish your series too. I would need to find a partner that won't back out. I had a guy this year I thought would fish with me all year, but after about 2 or 3 tournaments, it seemed his work or family would not allow him to fish. Had I had a good partner, I would have fished the tournaments and done my weekend work overnight like I did in years past.

Thanks again, I know this was way more info. then you wanted... but hey... I love to type... LMAO!!!!!!!!!

    Danny
