Garmin really makes a good gps. I have one of thier first models and it has held up good, but I am going to step up to thier gps 72 model. Its completely waterproof and floats and only uses 2 double a batteries. All thier models now have the WAAS capabilities and my current gps does not have this. This feature makes them very much more accurate. You can always find the spot with mine but I have compared the 72 model with mine and it is more accurate. I didn't realize mine could be that much off but by comparing sometimes it was. I would always find my spot but it would take a little longer. This model is about 160.00 at wal-mart. Thats what my older model cost and this one is loaded up with a lot more features.
