Crappie at Taylorsville?

Some friends and I are planning a trip to the lake in a couple of weeks. We want to go after crappie. None of us have ever fished Taylorsville before. We would appreciate any information on the fishing, lodging, bait availability etc.Is this a good place to crappie fish in the fall? Thanks for the info!!!!!

it's a feast or famine lake to me,I fis it regularly and sometimes it's easy to get a limit next day same place no bites.
Some do real well.take a lot of hooks and jigs if it aint close to hangin i can't catch one.lodging i don't know a lot about,there is a motel there close to settlers trace.I belive they have a bait shop and also settlers trace grocery has a good stock too.
