Barren Tailwaters Report Needed

Anybody been to the tailwaters at Barren lately? I'm going this cold, rainy weekend and I would just like to see what I may be getting myself into :).

I went Friday afternoon. They were pulling water pretty hard. The water was up to the walkway. I saw 8-10 people down there. One person who had been there all morning had had a few small catfish. One older gentleman had a LM about 5-6# he caught next to the high walls. Besides that everyone else blanked. The smell the other guy was talking about was there but not unbearable, yet. Sorry for the late response.

Drove across dam around 12:00 today and saw one truck in
parking lot below dam. Letting out lots of water and your
right about the smell!!!!!!

Might want to take a close pin with you because if the lake is turnning over like people have been reporting it might be stinky. I went there during the turnover last year and only fished 15 minutes because the smell was awful and I swear that smell was stuck in my nose for 2 days. Anyways just in case you didn't know they are letting out a good amount of water for winter drawdown.
