I would also like to find a good club or trail to join. I don't want to join Renegade, ABA, Midwest because I don't have the time to prefish and I would just be throwing my money away. A majority of these guys that win those tourneys have the time to prefish. All I get is Sat. and Sunday. If I could find a way to retire at 27 I would. So a club would fit my needs a little better. If you fish renegade I hope you can find a way to catch 15 lbs or better every tournament to have a chance to win.

Most clubs I've belong to the members prefish the tournaments. If you plan on fishing T's without doing your homework ahead of time then your just going to give your money away to the guys that do prefish or know the lake from prior years. Going without prefishing is the equivalent of rolling the dice and waiting for your number to come up.

Besides, that is how you learn. You go to the lake a few times, narrow your focus down to a few areas with map study, info gathering, etc. Then go out there and figure out the pattern. There are no shortcuts!

Who ever said there were shortcuts??? I'm just saying I don't have time to prefish 2 or 3 times a week. That's why I want to join something small. I don't want to pay the large entry fees and not have time to devote for prefishing.

Pre-fishing, what is that anyway? I fish ABC and it's a heck of a club! I can tell you that the only tournament that I ever prefished for was Nationals (4 kids around the house will put a halt to anyones prefishing). I haven't set the water on fire by any means, but have held my own this year. If you are serious about joining a bass club, ABC would be a great choice. All of the guys in this club are good people, who you would enjoy being around. We have some outstanding fisherman in our district, including Flippindrew, but we are always looking for new members. Like Drew said, the only thing you have to do to qualify for our National Tournament is fish 4 tournaments throughout the year and fish the State (2 day) Tournament. Regardless if you have caught a keeper fish the whole year, you are still qualified for Nationals. You can't beat that in my book. First place at Nationals takes home a brand new Bass Cat boat with a Mercury sitting on the back! The money payback at Nationals is pretty hefty too!! I would love to see you fish with us next year!! If you are looking for a smaller club look at the Green river bass club. They fish Green, Barren, Nolin, and one on Cumberland. They average around 25 boats. www.greenriverbassclub.com
