Wood Creek

We went to Wood Creek Saturday and the water level is about 4 feet low. If you go watch out for the end of the ramp it is very easy to back off the end. Water temp was 56 and fairly clear I caught two short bass and my brother in law caught a nice 3lber all fish were caught in about five feet of water near stick ups with spinner baits chartreuse or chartreuse & white.

I was beginning to think I wss the only person on this site to fish wood creek. I have a place down there thanks for the info I will be going down for 4 days during Thanksgiving. Hopefully weather be somewhat nice. Tight lines.

Where is Wood Creek? what lake or river?

Glad to hear a report also. I to have a house on Wood Creek but I havn't had time to fish there much.

Grumpy Wood Creek is in Laurel county it is a small lake. If you are going south on I75 you can see it on the right side of the road shortly after you get in Laurel county.

Thanks Big John, I have heard of it before but didn't know where it was. I might check it out someday, it couldn't be any further for me thatn Cedar Creek. I live in radcliff.

Where about is your dock and if you want give me a dock # or e-mail. I will be down thanksgiving for four days. I fish there quit a bit still trying to learn how to fish that deep water. Maybe will could cross paths.

I think its dock C, its at the end of the lake. (to the right of the main dock)Not much water now.
