Barren River

Hey, it is short notice here, but I am headed down to Barren River for the next 2 days, leaving in about 3-4 hours. New to the lake and was wondering if anyone had some good tips for fishing this time of year? (Any type of fish) Is there a bass pro shop there or any other type of fishing store that anyone would recomend that I could walk in and buy some lures and get good advise? If anyone would like to go fishing with a newbie like myself, I could sure use some help, and would be very appreciative. (I am 39 male)and live up near Cincinnati. I have a small one person boat for myself, or if someone has a boat for both of us I can definately pay my way. Give me a holler....

LOL Thank you very much! Hey, where abouts is Ranger bobs tackle? I am familier with the land area as I have been down there several times this summer, but don't know the lake YET.
