Anyone been to the new BPS in Clarksville yet?
How does it compare to Cincinnati and/or Nashville?

my 2 cents worth, The 4 that I have been to I rate as follows.
#1 Springfield MO
#2 Atlanta GA
#3 Clarksville IN
#4 Nashville TN
Bigger isn`t always better,JMO, Tom.
Well I sure hope that the store is a success. I hate to hear that the aquarium has a leak though. I look forward to visiting this store in the future. Right after I get over this blasted Flue Bug that's got me down.
I plan on making an entire day on my first visit to this store. It's only 2 hours away from where I live.
I read that it's the biggest BPS store East of the Mississippi River and second only in size to the Main store in Missouri.
I know it takes several days to go though some of the museum up in Chicago and I am hoping that I can see all the store in 8 hours. But I may have to stay in Louisville overnight and go back the next day to see it all.

Selection wise it's about the same as others. Went in there and spent all of $30. Be sure to wear your walking/running shoes for the hike from the parking lot.
This store is awesome.
They have put a few Cat's and garr in the aquarium as of last Saturday, but still waiting on the balance of the chemicals before adding more. Over 500 mounts, all of which are awesome, with the exception to the fish mounts. After talking to an employee, he said that all the mounts are real except the fish (they are remakes) that kinda look like rejects. I was a little disappointed with the fish mounts, but everything else made up for it. This place is awesome and is definately worth a visit. I have been there 4 times already.
It's nice. I went yesterday for about two hours and did not have a chance to see everything. I went over about 3:30 and it was not crowded at all. It is bigger than their Nashville and Cincinnati stores.
I went today its awesome ....theye had a leak in their aquarium ,so there are not any fish in it yet
I have not been to any other Bass Pro Shops so I cannot compare
I have only been to the Nashville store...hopefully this Sunday morning I'll be able to check out the Clarksville store...
The Clarksville store is HUGE. Much bigger than Cinci and Nashville.
* There are probably 20 boats INSIDE the store.......maybe more.
* Lots of stuff fishing stuff.......I MEAN TONS of stuff.
* Camping gear was a little weak, but that may be due to the season.
* Great fishing/hunting clothing/raingear area.
* Every MAJOR rod and reel can be purchased in this store. Loomis, AllStar, St. Croix, Falcon, Shimano, Penn, Quantum. You name it. they have IT.
* Electronics area is da BOMB.
* Golf driving range..........NO CRAP.
* Archery Range...............REALLY......NO CRAP.
* Nascar simulator.......Full Motion Cars/video game.
* No fish in the aquarium yet, but I believe this is the only BPS with multiple floors of aquarium.
All in all.....HUGE store.
Later,
Geo
