    Bill Taylor Tx.

I was planning on fishing the Bill Taylor Tx. next weekend but I got to thinking. How are 100-200 boats going to put in at Connely Bottom? I mean theres only 1 land to put in a boat. Still planning on going but just curious of how to go about this without being stuck trying to get in for hours. Thanks, Drew

Who says you have to put in at Conley Bottoms? There are several ramps just a short ride away from there. There are a couple ramps at the mouth of Faubush Creek, one in Cub Creek and one in White Oak. If I can talk my partner into it, I'll be fishing and we'll be putting in less than five minutes from Conley Bottoms. Good luck in the tournament.

I would suggest either Fall Creek if you are on the Monticello side of the lake, or Cumberland Point, which is only about a mile down the lake from Conley. If you go to either of these, there are several parking places, just don't expect to see a place to park unless you are there early, especially Cumberland Point. Most everyone in Nancy launches over there.

    Hope this helps.

I have fished this Tournament many years and have seen it take very long to unload and load.

The thing is, you and your partner need to be ready to launch as soon as it's your turn. This will help the line move quicker.Don't wait til it's your turn to launch to put the plug in,load coolers, rods, tackle etc.

Good luck to all and be safe.

I dont care how hard you try, when you have over 100 boats and one lane there is no fast way about it. I was just wondering of Pittsburg Mar. might have said something they would specifically like everyone to do.

there,s usually not alot of wasted time on the ramp, usually they are a couple of people at the water edge helping to keep things moving. just having everything ready when it,s your turn will make it go. one time i seen a guy unhook everything even the front hook and when he made the turn at the bottom of ramp the boat came off and right on the ground, luckily the motor was up.be careful and good luck.

    Fall Creek

Could somebody give me directions to the Fall Creek ramp please. I have never been there but I would like to fish around Faubush creek but don't want to mess with Conley Bottom on Saturday. Also, can you launch pretty easy by yourself there? Is there a dock? Ramp fee? Thanks!
