hard to find lures

This is the first time I've tried to locate a lure(specifically a jig) that I haven't been able to find in some form or fashion.What avenues do you ,my fellow fishermen(women) , use when you can't find a lure ? I have sent a few emails to custom lure manufacturers who have not responded at this time . I've looked at page after page on the internet ,looked on Ebay,all the usual web sites(i.e. bigfishtackle.com and others )and I am totally stumped .I appreciate all your help in advance .Thanks .

Go to www.coosatackle.com and email Frank. I love their site. While you are there, pick up some Paca Craws. I am addicted.

Last time I had this problem I went to google.com and searched for the specific lure. Make sure to put the name in quotes if it is more than one word. The search returned some less than helpful sites (sold out, no longer carried, etc.) but I did find what I was looking for.

I suggest that you describe the lure that you are looking for and give the name of it (if you know) and post this information on all of the different fishing discussion boards around the internet. If you have one you can take a picture of then provide a link to a picture as well. Someone has probably heard of it or has a stash somewhere.
