Nolin

Has anyone been to nolin recently? I haven't had a chance to go in a while, just wandering what kind of shape the lake is in and how the fish are acting these days. I may get to go in the next week or so if I can get away from work.
Any info would be appreciated.

I went last Sunday, the water clarity was good, the lake is just 5 feet above winter pool. The under water junk at Wax is starting to show it's ugly head, especially if you are headed up river, so be very careful. The crappie and walleye bite were slow, and I had no reports on the bass bite. The last couple of weeks there have been very few trailers in the parking lot, you will pretty much have the lake to yourself.

went crappir fishing last saturday at nolin. had what was probably one of the best days i have ever had for crappie. didnt catch a keeper until after 12 but from 12-4 we caught 30 keepers. only 5 were smaller than 10 inches and fifteen were over 14 inches.
