    F-n-F Ky RIver Trip....

    I got the jigs and rods.....anyone got a boat....

    Clays Ferry or the Frankfort pool.... they both have some bluffs and with the river being as low as it is, it has to have at least one willing to bite....
    Drop me a line

    RE: F-n-F Ky RIver Trip....

    Hey man, I don't know if the temps. are cooperating with a Ky. river trip, but, if you're serious, give me a shout. I tried to E-mail you but I couldn't for some reason. I'm off work until the first of the year and been fishing by myself the last little bit. Let me know something or how to get a hold of you. I live in Richmond. {12 miles from Clays Ferry pool}

    Why Would'nt it Workkkkkkk

    Moose,
    I didn't get it....
    Looks like we're going to hit it either Sat or Sun....Clays Ferry has some bluffs to try out for starters.

    I'm sure the other pools such as Tyrone should have some monster bluffs as well.....

    But the Steele Branch pool should be the best chance for a Smallie....

    Any thoughts from you river guys????
    Billy

    Man, I don't know why you didn't get that mail. It could have been the sender! Anyways, I have fished in that pool a few times, I think. We are talking from lock 10 down to 9, correct?

    The Clay's Ferry Pool should play....I'm trying to remember what's above Boonesboro. I haven't been on the river up there since I was knee-high.

    Hey, Mr. Split, I do know what's above Bonnesborough. That would be lock 11{College Hill} down to 10 which is Boonesborough. There are some nice bluffs in that pool, but, not a lot of them. I've never f-n-f fished the river, but I sure am willing to try it out. I'm trying to get the names of all these pools straight first, though.

    I also remember some bluffs upstream from the mouth of Boones Creek on the CLays Ferry Pool...

    The pool that High Bridge is in ( not sure what its called ) has quite a few steep bluffs. Also the next one up stream, the Ky river palisaides (sic).
