One hell of a post by SecretWeapon first of all. Personally, I don't think color makes a big difference at night. I stay in the black, black and blue, green pumpkin, and brown family on jigs and tubes. Black and whatever on spinnerbaits and natural colors on cranks at night. Personally rattle and vibration is more important at night to let the fish get a good feel for where the bait is at. I put a rattle on everything at night. I use 8" to 10" ribbed paddle tail worms which I think put off more vibration. I don't know but if Power Worms came in 10" Paddle Tails, I would be using them for the scent and vibration. I use rattling bullet sinkers on all T and C rigs at night as well. Never fished Taylorsville at night but used a Red 8" Paddletail worm texas rigged with rattlin bullet sinker and some "Smelly Jelly" did the trick for what few I caught at the Shelbyville Pond. Good Luck
