Sorry Peter, I personally have not seen that as of yet.

From the response I guess no body else is having the same problem, which is great news.

Good! No need to apologize!

I don't have that problem, but it sure would be nice to be able to get to the KY board without having to do four mouse clicks from the home page.
John B.
Are you saying that you can not bookmark the KY Discussion page and go straight to it from your Favorites? I have the main page bookmarked and I also have the KY Discussion page bookmarked because that is the one I go to FIRST most of the time. If you can't bookmark it, that may be just another strange thing that is happening with the new baord setup. Over all I like it, and I think most over people do also, but it seems that several of us have oddball problems with it and most other people are not having the same problems: i.e., Peter getting gibberish on some pages; my not being able to keep my board settings when I turn off the computer and come back on again; you not being able to go straight to the KY Discussion baord; and a couple of others which I don't remember right now. I think, like anything new, everything will settle down pretty soon and we will figure out how to use the thing (I HOPE SO ANYHOW)!!
I'll say it again, I think Peter has done a great job getting the new board up for us all--over all I really like it better than the old one--AT LEAST SO FAR IT HASN'T CRASHED.
Grumpy
Book mark it on your browser.
or create a shortcut in your links bar:
Internet Explorer view/toolbars/links
I can't bookmark personal items at work. Long story involving an employee who figured we needed to pay him to browse the Internet all day.
No biggie. Just seemed like an inordinate number of clicks to get to th actual board. I do like the new format, much cleaner.

You are right,it is.
Here is what I do.
In favorites there is a folder called "Links"
Put a few of your most freequently bookmarks in there.
then go to "View" and check links.
Bookmarks in the "Links" folders will now show in the tip of your browser alone with favorites, search etc.
If the "view" toolbars windows, make sure "lock toolbars" is not checked and you will be able to position the toolbar any where you wish.
Peter,
Love the new look of the board. I realize you are still trying to get the bugs out of everything and get used to the new software. Is there a way you guys can adjust the time we have to edit posts? I made a post, then about an hour later wanted to edit something. I got a message saying the amount of time to edit a post had expired.
Thanks
I agree with easy 13, we don't have enough time to edit our mistakes and when your typing/spelling is as bad as mine we need more than 15 minutes to edit. I don't usually go back and look at something I posted until much later and that is when I catch something. Like someone else suggested on the old board, it would be nice if we had SPELLCHECK when we draft our posts. Again, its a minor detail but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Thanks,
Grumpyh
changed the edit time limit to 60 minutes.
Seems like editing may make it more difficult for the moderators to keep track of the posts since they can change. We'll try sixty minutes. I guess the when moderating we can look at the time and if it was over an hour ago know that the post can't be edited again.
Thanks for the sugestion.
Hey grumpy,
like you I make a lot of mistakes when drafting my posts. I have been able to use spellcheck that is on my toolbar to check everything before I post. Helps me a lot. You might want to check that option out and add it in on your main page.
