where is this spell check?
On your browser toolbar or a seting in "user menue" on this board?
Thanks
Sorry peter should have been more accurate. The spellcheck is on my browser toolbar. There is nothing on the board menus you can do I don't think or at least that I have found.
Thanks for the suggsetion. However, so far I have not been able to find a SPELLCHECK on any of my tool bars. Did you put it there or was it somethin that came with your browser?
I did find something that may work just as well, if I can find some way to do it. On my toolbar there is a symbol for WORD and when I click on it, it changes the board to a WORD document. The trouble is when I do that while drafting a reply (or a Post) my draft is missing. When I try to use WORD in the "preview pane" that function of the toolbar is turned off and I can't edit with it.
If someone has an idea how to make this work, let us know.
Thanks.

Grumpy,
You could type your post in Word, then when the spellcheck is complete, you can copy and paste it.
That's about the best way I can think of. I've tried to get a spellcheck added to my tool bar... and just found it... I have the google tool bar. It has a spell check on it. Dang... wonder why I've never noticed it before. Now let's check to see if it works on the post... I'm sure I've got at least one misspelled word. LOL
By golly it works... now if I can remember it, I won't have any more misspelled words.
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny
Question
Where is my inbox located at. A week or so ago when the boards changed over to the new format there was an message at the top of the page that said I had a new message. I went there and checked it and it was an old message dated July 20 so I deleted the message. I have not been able to find my inbox since so...where do I need to go and look.
Peter, Jim anybody send me a message and see if I can recieve it.

The spellcheck was something that was on my toolbar when I got my computer. I have the google toolbar as well. I have very little knowledge of computers just kind of figuring it out as I go. Some of these other folks who have more knowledge on this darn thing might be able to help you a little more and tell you how to put it on your toolbar.
Found my inbox...user menu/user opition/inbox
Should have looked harder before I made my post LOL

Hey Danny, thanks for the suggestion but that sounds too much like WORK and I retiredf to avoid that. LOL!!
Actaully, I do exactly that sometimes when I want to make a long and/or involved post but the majority of the time, like now, I just make the post on the board and let everyone think that I can't spell--AFTER ALL IT IS SOMETHING I ALREADY KNOW why shouldn't everyone else know it.
BTW, thanks for the offer (in another post) to fish the Green River sometime, I would like to IF IT EVER COOLS OFF.
Take care,
Grumpy
Grumpy,
I installed a small spell checker on my computer several years ago, and it checks everything while you are typing, no mater what program or software you are using. It give off a little "ding" when it detects an error. It is free and you can download it here:

As one of my favorite folks (Mark Twain) said it takes a small unimaginable mind that can’t figure more than one way to spell a word.
Beep Beep
He also said, "southerners have no use for the letter "r".
They say Govna instead of Governor, Suthna instead of Southerner, befo da wa instead of before the war.
The full extent of my literary quotes and it's not exact I'm sure.
Be careful using the Google Toolbar. Is there spyware in the google toolbar?????????????
