    Moose,

I doubt that it does since I have ePest control anti-spyware software and none has ever been detected. However, it is great to be able to search google, no matter what page I'm on.

    RE: spellcheck

Has anybody else been having trouble with posts vanishing into thin air after you hit the "Post message" button? This has happened to me at least twice, maybe three times. After I hit the button I'm redirected to the thread I was trying to post in, but my post is not there. If I hit the back button a couple of times it brings me back to the window where you compose your message, but no text is there.

The worst part is that two of them were long posts and it took a long time to recompose them. Guess I'll have to learn to copy the text of my message before posting.

    Viewing Board Question

Anybody occasionally seeing some "jiberish" on on a page when they go form one page to another. Like a bunch of numbers or the page is scrambled.

I do. Hitting the refresh button on the browser fixes it when I do run into it.

    Anybody else see this?

    RE: spellcheck

After you hit post button the board takes you back to thread you posted in. Next time it happens hit the refresh button on your browser to make sure your browser has picked up the changes. In some cased internet providers store changes to pages refionally so you don't see the change immediately, but I doubt that's the issue.

Not sure that is what is happening.

Could be a "time out" thing. I know on my web based e-mail if I compose a long e-mail and hit post the same thing happens because it has "timed out" I try to copy or copy and paste anything that is long and time consuming through a entered browser so it does not vanish.

Please let me know if it happens again.

Also, it just happened to me (I thought)

I had the board sorted a different way.

You can sort by any of the column headings at the top of board.

    RE: spellcheck

It has not happened yet on this version of the board, but it had on the previous board. I could hit the back button and get back to where I composed the message, and my text would be there. I would have to copy the text into a word document, and then go back to the original message, and begin the process of replying again.

I have also learned that if I type a long post, I routinely make a copy until I make sure it appears on the board. It is not just this board by the way. It has happened a lot of times on other boards too.

I have yet to find the commone thread to what causes it.

    Moved Thread Notice,

Peter, does this new forum offer a "moved thread" notice indicator. That way if a thread is moved from one board to the other folks will know instead of thinking is was deleted?

Billy, if you check cman's boat for sale, you will see that it shows locked and when you open it, the post will show where the thread was moved to.

There are also two other options, delete the original post completely, or leave the topic as is unchanged... yet moved, if I read it correctly.

Sorry, I know you addressed this to Peter, but since I had been testing the board before it went public, I had played with that feature and thought I would answer first since I saw it first.

So a locked thread can also provide the"Moved Thread Message"?

Good deal. Might save some confusion. It there a way to tag it without opening the locked thread?
