    RE: Yes it does Billy

    Billy,

The board does not offer that as an option, however there may be a way. One of the things I've found is that moderators can edit posts from other posters. I have not done this... HONEST... although I have given it some thought...LMAO

I can see Peter right now looking to change "THAT" setting. LOL

Anyway, I suppose when the moderator moves the thread, he could make a post in the thread and have the subject line as thread moved. However, that would mean leaving the thread as it is on the board from where it was moved. Then if people are viewing the board in the threaded view, the way I do, they would see it in the subject line.

The second possiblity would be if the moderater could also edit the subject line of a post. I'll try that now on the locked thread of cman's. I may not be able to do it since the thread was moved, but will try. If unsuccesful, I may try a test thread to see if I can do it.

    Thanks for the good idea!!!

    Tight lines and God Bless

    Check it out Billy....

    Billy,

I don't know who moved the thread, but I did find I could edit the post and the subject line. I unlocked the post, then I edited it. I was even able to edit the subject line, and I then included that it was moved.

It is a couple more steps for which ever moderator moves a thread, but if he so wishes, he can make it clear to all that it was moved without posters having to open the thread.

You have a great idea, and hopefully it will be implemented, but that is out of my hands.

    Tight lines and God Bless

    RE: Check it out Billy....

I know under the old board when I was a moderator I tried to move a couple of threads and accidentially deleted them. Glad to see this is going to be a little easier.
