Typically, the drawdown brings the fish off the bank and more onto the old channels, which will have a current flowing through them. Fish points and underwater structure (old islands, bridges, etc).
Usually, the more water running through the lake, the better. The time is a blessing in disguise though, because it means the dreaded winter turnover is just around the corner.
I cant believe that in jsut 3 months, it'll be time to hang out until spring again :(
