    Peter??

After looking at severals threads in a topic, is there an easy way to get back to the main page in the position you left off or do I just have to keep hitting my browser's back button? If I click on "Kentucky Discussion Board" it just takes me to the top of the front page. I was just wondering if there is a way to go straight back to where I started before opening the threads. Thanks. CJ.

    Anyone?

Just seems like there would be. I figured I'm probably just overlooking it. I did fiure out that I can use collapsed threads in linear mode, click on the topic, read all the responses in the order they were posted at once, and then click back on my browser toolbar once and voila.

    RE: Anyone?

As far as I know just hit the back button or hit a navigation link after the last post. It will take you back to the top of the board thourg. Another reason to look at topics in collapsed mode.

    RE: Anyone?

If I understand what you are saying, and I'll try to restate it here to make sure I have the correct understanding....

It sounds like you click on a topic and read the post, then below the post, there are links to all the replies. It sounds like you then click on each of the posts in order, and read them. Is this right?

If so, my suggestion would be to then click on the link right about the post to the KY Discussion board. If you look at the address or location string, it should say something along the lines of conferences, ky discussion board, and then the topic itself. If you click on the link to the board, it will take you back to the board.

If that is what you are talking about, and you do what I suggest, there is really only one issue. The threads won't be highlighted, or changed colors showing that they were read. You can fix this by just clicking on each post link, and then hitting your escape key. This will show the link as read, and by hitting your escape key you won't be taken to the post.

    I hope this helps some.

    Danny Peter and others

Thanks Danny, but I think now that I have started doing what I explained in my first response to my own thread, I like doing it that way the best. Works for me anyway. Also want to thank Peter and all others involved in the board update. I like all the options and the way it is laid out. Haven't seen a single cr@$h yet. Didn't want to spell it cause I'd probably jinx ya'. Thanks for all the time and effort you have put into this great board. Whether we all say it or not, I'm sure all of us here feel that way.

    Peter has been the man!!!!

I tell you, Peter has really worked hard on this. My part has simply been testing the board, Peter did the hard stuff. Heck, I'm not sure I'm smart enough to do what Peter has done.

Shoot, Jim D. puts my knowledge to shame too.. and Devilshorse, redneck, etc.... I'm simply trying to help anyway I can. Those guys know way more than I do.
