As a youngster, I broke my back. I did not know it, nor did my doctors, but it healed back out of place. Now I can not stand for 5 minutes without the pain getting so bad my legs buckle. I have to use a lean seat to have any chance of fishing from an upright position. I can also sit and fish, but can not sit in one position for more than 20 minutes or so with out having to change positions.

Due to the place of the injury, my legs are losing strength very quickly. I do still have my upper body strength, but it really doesn't help much.

so if you guys want to kick my back side.... really, there is not much I can do about it.

So please, take it easy on me guys. PLEASE?

Jimbo maybe I missed something I don't think me and ole shadrap have ever had a harsh word. Maybe you meant me and Danny? And I did see that picture on this site of Danny and he looks like a pretty big boy. I've met Billy at the Strader show and I'll only go about 200 to 205. Dwight Eisenhower once said," What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog." I haven't got a thing against Danny, I'm just giving my honest opinions on things. I don't think Dave likes me though, maybe I need to book a trip with him, And after a few hours of fishing tell him who I am, hopefully he wouldn't put me out on the bank somewhere, LOL.

Mark: I definitely do not dislike you...I don't even know you to my recollection (although my recollection is not what it used to be). If you are referring to my deleting your posts that had comments about the administration of this board...nothing personal there at all...just doing what I was asked to do by Peter and have been doing it for many, many years. I guess I am a black and white kind of person...probably from so many years in the military...but anyway I don't take it personal when someone breaks the rules as set forth by Peter and Jim. It is business as usual as far as I am concerned...if you can get them to change the rules by talking to them by email then we monitors will enforce the rules as to however they change them. The way I see it is this: If we as monitors let one rule slide for one person then we are bound to let things slide for the next...once that begins then the board is subject to become full of whatever anyone wants to put on here. Nothing personal...just business.
