My buddy and I fished last nite on the Ohio River below Meldahl dam and caught a lot of fish. We threw crankbaits hoping for some smallmouth and largemouh. We only caught one smallmouth, around 11". However we caught 3 drum, from 2-4 lbs. , 2 channel cat 4-5 lbs. , and around 15 white bass 12-16" all on crankbaits. We caught them from 8-9pm on rocky banks where shad was present. Had a blast.
