question about lake turnover

is it possible for alake to turn over now? small lake 45 acres full of grass 2 weeks ago grass now is almost gone. dingy look to the water and it smelled like a pay lake!!! any thoughts?? oh yeah, the fish did absolutly nothing!!

Most would depend on where this lake is located.

Do a search on Goole (or whichever) for: "Oxygen Depletion". That may be the problem.
