Lake Linville

Went by the lake today on I-75 and noticed a bunch of markers in the water close to the bank. Anyone know what these are there for?

It seems like I remember seeing some construction equipment in that area of the lake a month or two ago when I went by.

Was there a pump or overflow in that area before? I fish the lake once a year but never that end so i'm not sure what might have been there.

Back in the spring they started replacing a large water line, I guess it was 36" or bigger all the way across the lake. I figure it is the pipe that supplies Renfro with their water. Whoever is doing the construction is still messing with that area and the fishing. Up until recently they had a cable across the entire lake and it was enter at your own risk. Anyway my 2 cents are free.
