more dumb boat questions

ok i'm looking at yet another boat so i have YET more dumb questions. i'm looking at a 20ft Astro in the morning at a local dealer. i know astro's aren't made anymore so i'm just looking for general info on them. are they made well? fast hulls? fit and finish? any help would be greatly appreciated as the boat search continues.

hey David,
boat buying is a hassle isn't it.well i have fished out of a couple astros,they fish well,ride pretty well.not the fastest because they are a little heavy,they made one that was pretty fast it was n f series i believe but they ride rough,light and narrow.they were the same hull as procraft and fisher.I know two friends have fish n ski versions early 90's model 18 ft and they have both had to do floor repair.
i saw a 94 201pro with a 200 johnson in the indiana rv and truck book you can get free at stores,it had a new motor and new lower unit on it and looked good in the pic for 8,000 and they needed to sell.
it was the same color as my 295pro you looked at.good luck.

well congrats on getting married keith. and thanks for the info on the boat but the guy sold it already. you were right, **** good looking boat in the pics. thanks again for the info though.
