Please keep the families and friends of those aboard flight 5191 in your prayers. Those individuals have a lot to go through and I just can't imagine how some of them are going to deal with it. I just found out this morning that a long time friend (Fenton Dawson from Lexington), former co-worker and team mate of mine was on the plane. He leaves behind a lovely wife, and two kids ages 8 and 12. He was a really good man and friend. I just can't imagine explaining that to those two young kids. It is soo sad.

Yes, I too knew of him, my friends' uncle. Keep the Dawson's in your prayers, along with the other passengers and family members through these extremely rough times...
God bless
One of my good friends and co-workers Tetsu Kono and his wife were on the plane. He had been here from Japan for about a year. He always had a smile on his face and would light up a room.
He will be deeply missed.

My prayers are out there for all of the family and friends who have lost loved ones. What a tragedy.
Rangerman,
Sorry to hear about your loss of a friend and to his wife and kids. All we can do is pray and pray for some comfort for his family and friends.
God Bless,

The victims of this horrible accident and their families are certainly in my prayers. I have not seen a complete list yet and hoping that none of my many friends from the Lexington area show up on the final list.
My prayers also go out for the poor soul that was the air traffic controller on duty early Sunday morning. I worked the control tower there for 5 years and many times worked that shift..it was always at the end of your work week and you pulled that night shift after having just worked an 8 hour day shift. I remember how it always felt to be dead tired after the long hours, being by yourself with the morning flights all going out and trying to concentrate on what was going on and all the while watching the clock in anticipation of my relief crew coming in and getting me off the position. From a controllers point of view...this was an accident waiting in the wings to happen...I am surprised it took so many years for it to finally come to pass.
Definitely in our thoughts and prayers. When I got to work this morning found out that several folks from the London area that I work with were effected by either being related or just knowing a few folks on the plane. We have all seen accidents like this around the country over the years but really doesn't get you till it hits home. My thoughts and prayers go out goes out to all of those who lost loved ones yesterday morning.
What can be added? You've all said it so well.
This was always my wife's greatest fear when I worked, as it was not unusual for me to be traveling every week.
My prayers are not just for the souls of those who have passed onto the next life, but for the survivors. As mentioned, the wives, children, sisters, brothers... etc.
I pray our good Lord will offer the compassion and healing to those survivors that only He can give.
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny
