posting problems

I have been tryin gto post on the hunting board a reply that I was the original poster of. What do I ned to do.
That is one thing I don't like about the new board. Lots of hoops to jump thru

I just went to the hunting board and made a test post. I had no problem, but noted you had made a response to your post on Hank Parker's show, is this what you were talking about? If so, you must have figured it out.

Yes I waited about 30 minutes and tried again and it went thru. At first I would click on reply and the page would come up asking for a name. I typed in my name and my reply . But when I hit post message it would say "posting error the name you are using is that of a registered user please try another"

If I understand what I read correctly, the hunting board doesn't require one to be registered. For some reason the program just must not have recognized you as a signed in registered user, but would not let you use your name "Spotboy" as it is a registered name.

Would there be any chance that you were not logged in at the time when you tried to post?

That is the only thing I can think.

I tried it both ways. I just tried to post again on the same thread and got the error. I then typed in a random name and it went thru. The program needs to recognize that the name was the also the person typing the message
