    RE: Creek Report, Friday 9/1

Buzz bait was the ticket last Saturday. Monday it was the topwater plug. Most of these creeks, they'll hit topwater from April thru October. Just gotta find what they want that day.

Billy, I'll give you a call later, or call me. I could be up for a wade.

I'm not so sure about that topwater bite. I spent two full days floating/fishing/paddling the Rockcastle river just 5 days ago and I couldn't get any action on topwater at all. The fish weren't aggressive at all. Almost all hits came right at the end of the retrieve as I would start to pull the bait from the water.

I can attest, and agree with Billy and Andrew, it's all in what you are throwing. Secret weapons help,LOL. Water in the creeks is definetely cooling off though. Billy and Andrew I'm working on a possible spot in Harrods creek that is suppose to be good??? I'll check it out and if it is, you guys have got to come down to my neck of the woods. :P

I'll have to take your word for it. I threw many different baits in 12 hours on the water.

Creek was low this afternoon. A little warmer than last weekend and a little clearer too. Couple of redeye on the bomb. A few smallies and a monster redeye on a buzzbait.
