    i have had that same proble with my tracker. i park it outside with the cover on it. i prop my rod box open with a big pole bobber. seems to dry out very well that way.

    Thanks for the info, I'll keep my rod box and other compartments open, since I store my boat in the garage...

    I have noticed that I get a gas and/or oil smell in all my boxes. My Triton is a 2002. What I do is keep a box of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda in each of the boxes as well. This helps absorb the smell and the moisture.
