It is my favorite color brush hound and baby brush hound (Hook Some Bass Brand is all I use) at Ky Lake. It is also my second favorite color tube (Again Hook Some Bass) behind Chameleon Craw at Ky Lake as well.

I took a look at 38 bass caught from 2004 to 2006 between 8.5 lbs and 12.67 lbs and 18 of those bass were caught on Watermelon Red. Four were cautht on a worm. Two were caught on a lizard. Six were caught on a bushhog. Five were caught on a fluke and three were caught on a senko. The rest were caught on a jig, spinnerbait, rattletrap, and plastic craw in other colors.

The creeks around here also love the Watermelon/Red in about anything, especially when the craws are molting.

I HAVE CAUGHT MAYBE 40 BASS IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS WITH THE BIGGEST BEING 5.3 OTHER KEEPER SIZE AND SMALLER. THE BIG ONE CAME ON A 7.5 RED SHAD CULPRIT THE REST WERE CAUGHT ON A WATERMELON/RED BRUSHHOG AND A WATERMELON SUPER FLUKE. RED AND REDISH COLORED BAITS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE.I BELIEIVE THEY ARE GOOD IN A LOT OF LAKES HERE IN KENTUCKY AND TENNESSEE. MIGHT I ADD THAT THE BASS I HAVE CAUGHT IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS WERE ALL CAUGHT AT TAYLORSVILLE LAKE IN 8 TO 12 FEET OF WATER OFF OF POINTS AND IN THE TIMBER.
Billy took the words right out of my mouth. Great color in the creeks around here. Watermelon/Red Zoom Super Flukes, Yum craws and 4.20 Sweet Beavers catch a bunch for me.
