I am looking into buying a color depthfinder/gps unit for my boat.
In your honest opinion, what is the best one out there for the money?
Would like to have the ability to use map cards too.
Thanks,
Bassky;-)

personally i've looked at several of the good ones from lowrance/eagle, and garmin. not much difference in them in my opinion. i've never had a garmin and was never much on hummingbird (but they seem to have improved a lot since min kota bought them). i've always liked the lowrance stuff. but like i said i haven't used much else. the lms 332c is SWEET. as far as best deal, check out ebay. be patient you'll find a good deal there.

check out www.threeriversmarine.com they have great deals and wonderful service. Right now they have lms 334c on sale for 619. You have to e-mail them b/c Lowrance will not allow them to advertise their price. I have bought two units from them and highly recommed them. I currently have two lms 332's on by boat, they are the same and the 334 but they have an external anetanna.
Lowrance GlobalMap 3600c is pretty affordable and does a great job. I think they are around $460 if you do a google search.
