Trip for 8 headed down early December - the resort I normally stay at will be closed come Dec. Anyone have any recommendations?

I stayed at the Kentucky State Park Lodge last Dec. and had very nice room and food. You certainly don't have to worry about the crowds in Dec. The only negative is there is not much as far as boat slips so we had to launch the boat every day. We had great fishing the second week in Dec. last year. Good luck.
