Any Help?
Boat in shop, bank bound, itching to do some fishing, live in Louisville area. Where would some of you fisherpersons suggest within an hours drive? Tired of fishing the same old park lakes. Thought about heading to T-ville to fish the finger next to Settler's Trace and the two next to Possum Ridge after work or trying the WMA ponds. Any thoughts? Never tried those ponds are they any good and if so what is the best way to get to one or more of them? Any advice/help appreciated. Thanks, CJ.
Also, if anyone plans to fish within an hour of Louisville and would like someone to go with them, I would love to meet some of you folks on here. Will help with gas money and such. Drop me a line if you would like to go sometime. Chris (502-931-6236)

Anybody? Get off @ 4 and need some ideas. Taking a friend that doesn't get away from work often and would like to put him on at least a few fish.

Hey Chris,
You can go to the oldhamera.com site. They just did a article on fishing lakes in the louisville area. It was pretty infomative.

I wonder if I was the only who read this and wondered what the heck a "hamera" was, and why someone would devote a website to an old one.

RE: Any Help?
Fish the Falls of the Ohio! It's a blast! You just never know what you might catch! Sauger, white bass, catfish, and stipers are all common. The smallmouth downstream of the falls is pretty good too. Check it out sometime! I love it!

RE: Any Help?
Thanks for all the responses. I really do think I'll have to try the falls again the way everyone has been going on about all the action down there. Haven't been there in years, but it sounds like it would be fun. Lately I've been doing mostly bass fishing but I've always enjoyed any kind of action. I used to catfish a lot and I still go crappie or walleye fishing to put some fish on the table occasionally. Wouldn't eat much out of the Ohio but I would love to hook into anything of a decent size in that current. You folks leave me something to catch down there.

I fish for the stripers, catfish, and have been doing pretty good on the smallies down there. So if ya like to get out and see some of the river i`d be glad to take y aalong.

Sure. Would love to go sometime. Drop me an e-mail or pm w/name and number and we'll talk about it. I work swing-shift and that makes it difficult to coordinate w/other people's schedules sometimes. I really appreciate the response and offer. CJ (502-931-6236) anytime. If the phone is on I'm awake.
